WATCH: Fire Damages San Angelo Home Friday Evening

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Firefighters battled a blaze in a house on S. Koenigheim at Ave. H Friday evening.

Reporters on the scene say it appears flames and smoke heavily damaged the structure. Officials sent out a Nixle alert advising residents to avoid the area while they battled the blaze.

The San Angelo Fire Marshals office is investigating the cause of the fire. There are no reports of injuries at this time.

A reporter witnessed one vehicle drive through the blocked off street past emergency first responders and over one of the fire hoses.

No word on if that driver was stopped or not.
