WATCH: Here's What Happened to a Dog Riding in the Back of a Pickup During a Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A dog riding in the bed of a pickup was not seriously injured Monday after his owner crashed into a car in front of them near the intersection of S. Bryant Blvd. and Ben Ficklin Rd.

According to officers on scene, on May 2 1:15 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department, along with fire and EMS, were dispatched to the intersection of S. Bryant and Ben Ficklin Rd. for the report of a major crash.

When they arrived, the officers discovered a white GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation that crashed into the back of a white Ford Edge.

The driver of the Edge was taken to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the GMC was cleared at the scene along with his dog.
