Three Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Busy San Angelo Intersection Friday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A three vehicle crash shut down a busy southwest San Angelo intersection on Friday afternoon.

According to reporters on scene, on Apr. 22 at around 1:30 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Sherwood Way and Sunset Dr. for the report of a major crash.

When they arrived, the officers discovered three vehicles that had crashed in the middle of the intersection. The vehicles were a white Toyota Tacoma, red Jeep Compass, and grey Honda Accord. Here are video of the scene.

There was an ambulance called to the scene but all passengers were checked out and released on scene. 

SAPD shut down the majority of the east bound lanes of Sherwood Way for about an hour. 

The cause of the crash was not revealed to reporters on scene.
