WATCH: Driver & Passenger Injured in Crash on Loop 306 Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO – Two people were injured and sent to the hospital following a single vehicle crash on Loop 306 by Goodwill near College Hills Tuesday just before noon.  

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Bradshaw, a silver Dodge Ram pickup was southbound on Loop 306 when witnesses say a tanker truck passed the pickup.  

Witnesses say the driver of the pickup then began swerving and lost control.

Officer Bradshaw says the pickup crashed into the guardrail and spun down the roadway.  

Photos from the scene show the pickup with a tire and wheel missing and extensive damage on the drivers side.  

The driver and passenger in the pickup were transported to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries which appeared to be non-life threatening.  

Traffic was slowed at the crash scene during the investigation.  

No citations were issued at the scene.
