Teen Motorcyclist Dies in Tragic Ector County Crash

 

MIDLAND, TX – A two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Ector County left a teenager dead over the weekend.

The child, who was 15, was traveling southbound on a Kawasaki motocross motorcycle on Westcliff Road. The teen was following behind a vehicle and tried to pass on the left side.

Just as the teenager was passing, the vehicle attempted a left turn at the intersection of Westfield Drive and Westcliff Road. The teenager crashed into the vehicle with the Kawasaki motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS is investigating this crash and no more information is available.
