Officials Investigating Possible Drowning at Twin Buttes Sunday

SAN ANGELO, TX – Law enforcement officials are investigating a possible drowning at Twin Buttes Reservoir on Sunday.

According to multiple sources, on Sunday, Mar. 27, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, along with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, were called to Twin Buttes for the report of a drowning.

Witnesses on scene claim that that a TPWD boat was seen dragging the reservoir near the cage. The TPWD boat was seen as late as 7:30 p.m.

A spokesperson for the TGCSO has confirmed that the Texas Game Wardens along with the TPW are leading the investigation.
