Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing Into Concrete Barrier

 

ABILENE, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in Abilene Wednesday afternoon after crashing into a concrete barrier.

According to the Abilene Police Department, on Mar. 16 at around 4:15 p.m., officers with the APD were dispatched to the 5200 block of Loop 322 for the report of a major crash.

When they arrived, the officers discovered a motorcyclist who had crashed into a concrete barrier. The man, Billiejoe Brooks, Jr., was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The exact cause of the crash is unknown at this time but police do not believe that alcohol was involved.

His next of kin have been notified.
