WATCH: Police & Firefighters Dispatched to a Crash with People Trapped Friday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Police & firefighters were dispatched to a major crash Friday afternoon with people trapped in a vehicle at the intersection of Willow St. and Jefferson St.  

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Younts,  a white Chevrolet Impala was eastbound on Willow while a red Dodge SUV was northbound on Jefferson.  

The driver of the Impala failed to yield the right of way to the SUV and caused the crash.

First responders were able to get all the people out of the vehicles without incident.  

Officer Younts says there were no injuries in the crash.  The intersection was closed to traffic while the crash was investigated.  

The driver of the Impala was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
