WATCH: Multiple Fatalities Reported After Semi Crashes Into Overpass

ABILENE, TX — A crash on I-20 killed two people on Sunday morning.

According to the Abilene Police Department, on Feb. 27, officers with the Abilene Police Department responded to a crash on Interstate 20 near mile marker 286 which is near FM 600 overpass.

The crash involved Semi Tractor Trailer which hit the overpass and engulfed in flames.

Traffic on I-20 is being re-routed. Traffic will be slowed until crews can clear the wreckage.

Police have confirmed that the driver and one passenger of the Semi were killed in the crash.
