WATCH: Chimney Fire Threatens College Hills Home

 

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Firefighters were dispatched to a house in the 2400 block of Douglas Dr. near Angelo State University Thursday afternoon for a structure fire. 

According to reporters at the scene, the fire was in the chimney and firefighters were concerned it had spread into the attic.

Firefighters eventually made an entry through the roof into the attic to make sure the fire was contained. 

There are no reports of injury and the fire is out at this time.  

The cause of the fire has not been released.
