WATCH: Crash at Busy Intersection Near Heavy Police Activity

SAN ANGELO – Two drivers were uninjured in a crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Sunset Dr. Wednesday night while there was heavy police activity in the Best Buy parking lot on the corner of the intersection.

Photos from reporters on the scene show several San Angelo Police Department patrol vehicles in the Best Buy parking lot.  Reporters say scanner communications indicate officers were dispatched to the scene to 'clean the parking lot.'

While that was going on, two vehicles crashed at the intersection.

Officers at the scene said it was a two vehicle crash and no one was injured.

The red car failed to yield the right of way from Sherwood Way onto Sunset causing the crash with a black four door sedan.

The officer investigating the crash said it was not related to the activity in the parking lot.
