Watch: Driver Killed in Horrific Head-On Crash Near Wall

SAN ANGELO, TX –– A horrific crash resulted in a fatality near Wall in a Tuesday morning crash.

According to Sgt. Baker of the Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred between a white Ford F-550 pickup and a white Chevy van.

The preliminary investigation showed the driver of the F-550 was traveling northbound on US 87 when the pickup experienced a blowout. This caused the driver to lose control of the pickup and cross the center median.

Ending up in the southbound lane, the pickup collided head-on with the van traveling south on the highway.

This resulted in the death of the driver in the Chevy van, while the driver of the Ford pickup sustained minor injuries. 

The identity of the victim will not be released until next-of-kin is notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
