SAN ANGELO – Two people were taken by ambulance to the hospital following a serious crash at the busy intersection of Sherwood Way and FM-2288 late Tuesday evening.
According to reporters at the scene, it appears two dark colored SUVs crashed in the intersection. The driver of one of the SUVs and the passenger of the other were injured. EMTs were seen putting neck braces on them. Both were then taken by stretcher to awaiting ambulances.

San Angelo Police officers at the scene were investigating the cause of the crash and declined to provide any additional information.
The conditions of the injured are not available at this time.
