Watch: Crash Caused by Kentucky Fried Chicken Craving

SAN ANGELO, TX – A driver apparently craving some finger licking good chicken caused a crash on Thursday while attempting to turn into the KFC on S. Bryant at Ave. N.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Oct. 14 at around 12:15 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department  were alerted to a major crash at the intersection of W. Avenue N and S. Bryant.

A San Angelo Fire Department fire engine was in the area and firefighters witnessed the crash. They promptly called in SAPD to investigate.

Once the officers arrived on scene, they assisted the drivers who were in a silver GMC Sierra and a silver Hyundai Sonata. Neither of the drivers were injured in the crash.

The lead investigator, Officer Long, confirmed that the Sierra was traveling west on W. Avenue N and attempted to make a left turn into the KFC parking lot. The driver of the Sierra failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of the Sonata which crashed into the Sierra.

The driver of the Sierra was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
