BREAKING: 2 18-Wheelers Crash on Fog Shrouded US 87 Scattering Debris on Roadway

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An 18-wheeler crash shut down a major highway outside of Sterling City on Thursday morning. 

According to reporters on scene, on Oct. 13, troopers with the Department of Public Safety were dispatched to U.S. Hwy. 87, four miles south of Sterling City, for the report of a major crash.

Traffic is down to one lane on both sides of the highway and troopers are currently directing traffic.

One of the vehicles involved was an 18-wheeler allegedly hauling avocados. No word as of now if another vehicle was involved but reporters claim to have seen steel pipe near the crash.
