Watch: Driver Injured After Crash with Pickup Pulling Travel Trailer

 

SAN ANGELO – Just before 6:00 p.m. DPS Troopers responded to a major motor vehicle crash near the intersection of US Hwy 277 and Old Ballinger Highway.

According to Trooper Morante, a female in a silver Lexus passenger car was traveling south on Old Ballinger Highway when she failed to yield at the stop sign.

At the same time, a pick-up truck towing a camper was traveling east on US 277. 

When the Lexus attempted to cross US 277, it was t-boned by the camper.

The driver of the Lexus was transported to Shannon Medical Center for further evaluation and will be issued a citation for failing to yield at a stop sign. No one else was injured in the crash.
