Watch: Driver Hospitalized After Crash at Dangerous Houston-Harte Off Ramp

SAN ANGELO, TX –– Shortly after 10:30 a.m. SAPD first responders were dispatched to the Houston Harte frontage road near Family Powersports for reports of a major crash.

According to Officer Younts, the crash occurred between a black Chevy Uplander and a white Toyota Camry traveling west on the frontage road. 

 

When the driver of the Camry yielded for the vehicles exiting Houston Harte, the driver of the Uplander failed to control their speed and crashed into the Camry.

The driver of the Uplander was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries. She will also be issued a citation for Failure to Control Speed.
