WATCH: High Speed Crash Blocks Knickerbocker Rd. Saturday

 

SAN ANGELO – One person was hospitalized after a two vehicle high speed crash Saturday afternoon closed down the busy intersection of Knickerbocker Rd. at Red Bluff Rd. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Jensen at the scene, the driver of a tan Chevrolet pickup was southbound on Knickerbocker Rd. 

The driver of a blue pickup was headed east on Red Bluff Rd. and failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic.  

The pickups crashed in the intersection blocking the heavy traffic for a considerable time while officials investigated and cleaned up the crash.

Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.  

The driver of the blue pickup failed to yield the right of way.  

The condition of the driver of the tan pickup is unknown at this time.
