Officials Investigating Labor Day Weekend Drowning

BROWNWOOD – Officials in Brown County are investigating a drowning at Lake Brownwood over the Labor Day weekend.  

According to information on social media from the Brown County Water District, the body of a man in his 40s was recovered in Lake Brownwood Saturday.  

The drowning occurred in the Tamarack Mountain area at the lake. 

Officials say the body has been sent for an autopsy.  

No further details were released.
