Horrific Crash Kills One, Critically Injures Two

 

ODESSA, TX –– A horrific crash killed one and left two in critical condition early Sunday morning in Odessa.

According to the Odessa Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of East 52nd St. just before 3:00 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2007 Chevy Tahoe was traveling west on 52nd St when it left the roadway. The Tahoe would then crash through a fence and into a tree.

The driver, identified as Leonel Torres, and the rear passenger, identified as Alexis Luna, were ejected from the vehicle. The front passenger, identified as Bryan Contreras, died at the scene.

Torres and Luna were transported to Medical Center Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
