Irion County Sheriff's Office: Multiple Crashes with Cows on US 67

 

MERTZON, TX – Officials with the Irion County Sheriff's Office in Mertzon are urging motorists to avoid U.S. 67 west of Mertzon because of multiple vehicle crashes with cows Monday night.  

Here is a social media post from the Irion County Sheriff's Office early Tuesday morning, 

"Avoid US Hwy 67 west bound about city limits - multiple motor vehicle accidents with black cows - give Emergency Vehicles room to work safely..."

No word yet on injuries or how many crashes there have been.
