Motorcyclist Barely Escapes Death

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A motorcyclist barely escaped death Wednesday night after crashing his bike on the Old Ballinger highway.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Aug. 25 at around 9:25 p.m., were dispatched to the 3200 block of old Ballinger Hwy. for the the report of a major crash. 

When officers arrived, they discovered a sport motorcycle that had crashed into the oncoming lane’s barrow ditch. 

Reporters on scene confirmed that a middle aged man was rushed from the scene via EMS. 

Police say the man is not seriously injured but he did traverse the oncoming lanes when whizzing towards the ditch. Police told us that they have no clue why or how the man crashed the bike. 

People began dispersing the area around 10:15 p.m.
