Update: Everyone Survives Brutal Crash on Highway 277

 

ELDORADO, TX – A section of US 277 was shut down on Monday morning due to a major crash.

According to the Eldorado Success, on Aug. 23, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to US 277 for the report of a major crash.

Troopers located the crash about seven miles south of Eldorado. The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m.

During the time of the crash TxDot detoured traffic.

Little is known about the crash at this time but San Angelo LIVE! has reached out to DPS.

UPDATE AUG. 23, 2021 12:30 P.M.

The Texas Department of Public Safety Sargent Justin Baker confirmed that the two vehicle crash resulted in no deaths. Baker did not give any other details on the condition of the passengers.

Witnesses on scene told San Angelo LIVE! that one of the individuals was a young adult man. Also one of the vehicles involved was a Republic Services Truck.
