PECOS, TX – On Monday, a young girl died just days after being involved in a hit-and-run crash.
Pecos police responded to a hit-and-run call that occurred at the 900 block of North Hickory last Thursday.
When law enforcement arrived, they discovered a girl with severe injuries laying in the street. The girl was flown to El Paso but succumbed to her injuries.
Pecos police spoke with three other subjects all of whom were minors. Two of the subjects were witnesses and the other was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
No arrests have been made yet and the police have not released the name of the girl who passed away.
