Helmetless Biker Killed in Horrific Crash

 

ABILENE, TX – A 29-year-old biker was killed in a tragic accident near Abilene on Monday evening.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on the 5200 block of Laguna Dr.

The preliminary investigation revealed David Baker was speeding westbound on a 2007 Kawasaki dirt bike when he disregarded a stop sign at the Presidio St. intersection. Baker would then crash into a Mercedes Benz traveling south on Presidio St.

As a result of the impact, Baker was ejected from his motorcycle and would succumb to his injuries at the hospital. According to police, Baker was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Mercedes was not injured in the crash.
