SAN ANGELO, TX – The driver of an SUV was seriously injured in what appears to be a crash with a truck-trailer on Houston-Harte near the Van Buren St. Bridge Tuesday morning.
Communications reports indicate the driver suffered a massive head wound and was trapped inside the vehicle. First responders had to extricate the driver from the vehicle. Reports from the scene say EMTs applied a tourniquet to the driver's leg before he was removed from the vehicle and placed on a stretcher then placed in an ambulance.
The driver's condition is unknown at this time.

The SUV and the truck-trailer appear to have been the only vehicles involved in the crash.
