Troubled Abilene Man Walks into Traffic on I-20 Causing Pileup

ABILENE,TX – A troubled 19-year-old Abilene man walked into a lane of traffic on I-20 in Abilene and was struck by a vehicle Tuesday causing several vehicles to crash.

According to a press release, the man had a broken leg after being struck by the vehicle.

A few drivers had non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. One drive was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The conditions of the injured are unknown at this time.  

The incident is still under investigation.
