Ballinger Plumber Killed in Rural Runnels County Crash

 

BALLINGER, TX – One person was killed and another seriously injured Tuesday in a high speed crash in Runnels County.

According to sources close to the scene, on Jul. 20, officers with the Ballinger Police Department were dispatched to the intersection at US Highway 83 and County Road 344.

When they arrived the officers found two F-250 pickups had crashed at the intersection.

The driver of a grey F-250, Toby Moore, of Ballinger, was killed in the crash. His body was sent to Lubbock for an autopsy.

Moore was a plumber in Ballinger for many years and operated his own business, Moore's Plumber Co.

The driver of the black F-250, Justin Busenlehner, of Ballinger, was airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Last report stated that he is in stable condition.

Also on scene were troopers with the Texas DPS, deputies with the Runnels County Sheriff's Office, and Ballinger Fire and EMS.
