SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that shut down part of Loop 306 near Sherwood Way Friday morning.
Police on the scene confirmed the crash was a single vehicle and the motorcyclist is deceased.
Police issued a Nixle alert at 7:54 a.m. urging motorists to avoid the area.
The SAPD Crime Scene Unit is on the scene along with other police officers and firefighters.
It is unknown at this time if the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
Reporters at the scene say an ambulance left the scene but it is unknown at this time of the motorcyclist was in the ambulance.
