Pedestrian Struck and Killed by 18-Wheeler

 

MIDLAND, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed a pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning when he was hit by an 18-wheeler in Midland County.

According to DPS, Alexander Marshall was walking down the fog line, which is the white line on the side of the highway, when he was struck from behind by a truck tractor towing a semi-trailer. 

Marshall succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The crash occurred around 4:00 a.m., south of FM 1788.
