Police Offering Reward for Information in Fatal Accident

 

MIDLAND, TX -- The investigation continues into the fatal hit-and-run that left a teenager dead on June 2, 2021. A $6,000 reward is now being offered for any information that can lead to an arrest.

According to MPD, the teen was attempting to cross the road when the teen was struck by an older model white Ford F-150 with a white headache rack and a toolbox in the truck bed. 

The truck was last seen traveling south on Midland Drive near Cuthbert and is expected to have damage.

Last week the Midland Police Department shared the following video of the suspect vehicle:

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case will be eligible for a $1,000 cash reward from Midland Crime Stoppers and an additional $5,000 from a private donor. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
