Molly the Border Collie Found Safe After Escaping Rollover Crash

 

ROBERT LEE, TX – A dog lost on Monday morning after it escaped a rollover crash nearly 15 miles from Robert Lee was feared injured or dead has been found.

According to the Robert Lee Volunteer Fire Department, on Jun 7, firefighters, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety, and deputies with the Coke County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a rollover crash near the intersection of Hwy 158 and FM 2059.

During the crash a dog in the vehicle that rolled over went missing. At the time of the initial crash law enforcement had no clue if the dog had survived.

After hours of searching Molly the black and white border collie was found safe.

It is unknown at this time if there were any injuries to the dog or the individuals involved in the crash.

The Robert Lee VFD thanked everyone involved in helping locate the dog.
