Intoxicated Driver Causes Four Vehicle Crash

 

ODESSA, TX – A 38-year-old Odessa man is facing serious charges after he caused a four-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

According to the Odessa Police Department, officers were dispatched to an area near Andrews Highway and Yuko at 7:55 p.m. for reports of a major motor vehicle accident.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a crash involving a Chevrolet Suburban, a Ford Ecoline van, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a Dodge Ram.

The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the Dodge Ram, Rogelio Lujan, was traveling west when he crashed into the motorcycle and van, propelling them into the suburban.

The driver of the van and the motorcyclist were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries

Officers determined Lujan was intoxicated and he was charged with intoxication assault, a third-degree felony. His bond was set at $10,000.
