Crash During Chick-Fil-A Rush Injures One Driver

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – One person was injured in a noon time crash on FM-2288 in front of Chick-Fil-A restaurant that shut down traffic at the busy intersection of Sherwood Way and FM-2288.

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Loudermilk a black Dodge Journey was attempting to leave the Chick-Fil-A parking lot when a silver Honda Accord was northbound on FM-2288.  

Loudermilk says the driver of the Journey failed to yield the right of way and caused the crash.  The driver of the Journey was injured but refused to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. 

The driver of the Journey was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way from a private drive.  

There were two people in the Honda who weren't injured.
