Midland Man Killed After Crashing F-150 into a Moving Train

 

STANTON, TX – A Midland man was killed early Saturday morning after crashing his F-150 into a train near Stanton.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on May 29 at around 3:30 a.m., troopers with the Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the south service road of I-20 east of Stanton for the report of a major crash.

When the troopers arrived they discovered a Ford F-150 that had crashed into a train. 

The driver of the vehicle Gary T. Carr, 56, of Midland was pronounced dead on scene.

It is unclear why the crash occurred but the F-150 veered off the roadway, into the grass, and then into the train.
