BREAKING: Possible Plane Crash Near San Angelo During Thunderstorms

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – There are reports of a possible plane crash near San Angelo Regional Airport Mathis Field during the thunderstorms Thursday evening.  

San Angelo Live! has reporters working toward the scene. 

There are severe thunderstorms in the area. 

Reporters are checking with resources at the airport.  There is no confirmation of a crash at this time. 

Multiple sources are confirming a private plane went down. 

Severe thunderstorms continue to develop north of San Angelo and the National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the area north of San Angelo.  

Reporters are working to confirm the possible crash and details surrounding that information.
