BREAKING: Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputy Injured in Altercation

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Shortly before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday San Angelo Police officers and Tom Green County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Goodfellow Family Housing for reports of an injured individual who may have been injured by a vehicle.

Goodfellow Family Housing is located on Paint Rock Rd. and Longhorn Dr. near Goodfellow Air Force Base. 

 

While no official information has been released, scanner reports indicate a sheriff's deputy suffered injuries while dealing with a suspect in a vehicle. Initial scanners reports stated the deputy has an injured leg and may have been punched in the face.

Reports also indicate the alleged suspect may have sustained a taser wound. 

Witnesses at the scene told San Angelo Live reporters that the deputy was treated at the scene by EMS. They also stated the alleged suspect was in custody.
