WATCH: Pregnant Driver Injured in Scary High Speed Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX – A pregnant woman driver was injured in a high speed crash on S. Chadbourne St. at FM-765 Thursday afternoon on rain slicked roads.

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Long, the pregnant woman was driving a gray Nissan four door passenger car southbound on S. Chadbourne slowing down to turn left onto FM-765.

A white Dodge Pickup pulling a flat bed trailer was coming up behind the Nissan and crashed into it at high speed.

The crash spun the Nissan around and it landed facing north.

The pregnant driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge pickup was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
