Helicopter Called in for Gruesome Midnight Crash that Killed a Woman

 

COLEMAN, TX – One woman was killed while multiple others suffered injuries Tuesday night in a crash on Highway 84.

According to Coleman Today, on Apr. 6 at around 11:30 p.m., Coleman law enforcement were dispatched to the US 84 Bypass at North Colorado for the report of a major crash.

When CPD officers, CCSO deputies and DPS troopers arrived they discovered a Toyota 4Runner and a Ford F-250 that had crashed and were on the north side of the roadway. 

Multiple injuries were discovered and a medical helicopter was called to the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, 53-year-old Candace Barr of Abilene, was transported to the Coleman County Medical Center where she later died. The other passenger was airlifted to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. 

The driver of the F-250 was taken to the Coleman County Medical Center and then was transferred to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

The Coleman Police Department is investigating the crash and have not yet released the any information on how the crash occurred.
