WATCH: Driver Leaves the Scene on Three Wheels after Scary Hit & Run Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX – A two vehicle hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning sent both drivers to the hospital after one left the scene.

According to investigating officers at the scene, a maroon Ford pickup and a black GMC SUV were southbound on S. Bryant Blvd. at Ave. N when the crash occurred.  The impact of the crash broke the left front wheel off the pickup.

The driver of the pickup left the scene on three wheels and a witness followed the damaged vehicle until it stopped in the 2500 block of S. Irving St.  The left front suspension of the pickup gouged the pavement from the crash scene to where the pickup stopped.

Investigating officers said both drivers were transported by ambulance to the hospital.
