Biker Down on South Bryant and It's Fatal

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police, fire and EMS responded to a fatal crash between a motorcyclist and a Chevy Camaro on S. Bryant near the Avenue L intersection Wednesday night, March 3, at around 9:30 p.m.

The intersection was shut down as police investigated the crash and cleared the roadways.

On the roadway was a sheet-covered body of the motorcyclist. 

Lt. Craig Thomason, shift commander, said that he was not aware of any other injuries. He also said that few details were known Wednesday evening, March 3, as police were still in the midst of their investigation at 10:30 p.m. More details and the name of the victim will likely be released tomorrow after the initial investigation is complete.

When a fatal traffic crash happens, it is procedure for San Angelo police to conduct a very detailed investigation, likely extending into the daylight hours. Often, a crash scene is recreated days later where the crash happened.
