Driver Killed After Striking Light Pole

 

ODESSA, TX – The Odessa Police Department has confirmed a 30-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle crash early Friday morning.

According to OPD, officers were dispatched to the 5800 block of South Highway 385 just after midnight for reports of a crash.

The preliminary investigation showed a 2014 GMC Yukon was traveling north when the Yukon left the road and struck a light pole.

The driver, identified as Dana Harvey, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
