Early Morning Crash Destroys Local Favorite Kolache Shop

SAN ANGELO, TX — One of San Angelo’s favorite Kolache and Donut Shop was destroyed over the weekend after a vehicle crashed into the building.

According to a gofundme set up by the owner, around 3 a.m., Sunday January 17, a pickup crashed into Express donuts & Kolaches located at 2202 Sherwood Way.

“We are so blessed that this happens on Sunday while the
business is closed,” stated Sokha Loth “As a baker we go in to work right at this time, thank God no one was working during this time!”

The gofundme went on to say that a group of boys drove a truck into the small building.

Now the owners are unsure where their next move will be.

“Normally we don’t like to ask for help but our donut shop is our main source of income for our family,” stated Loth. “Because of covid, our insurance relapsed. Anything that donates to our family will help us get thur for the time being, until we get things situated and the processes will take time.”

Sounds like a personal problem now due to lacking in the smarts department for letting their insurance lapse..... Won't be visiting their gofund me page because of stupidity......
