Biker Injured in High Speed Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A biker is lucky to be alive Friday evening after crashing into a car at a residential intersection in San Angelo.  

San Angelo Police Department officer Kvittem told reporters at the scene that a Dodge Challenger was southbound on Campus while the biker was westbound on Houston.

The biker told investigating officers the sun was in his eyes and he didn't see the car.  

Witnesses told police the bike was traveling at a high rate of speed. 

The motorcycle went through the intersection crashing into the Challenger.  

The biker was transported to Shannon Medical Center downtown with non life-threatening injuries.  

He will be issued a citation later.

I'm pretty sure this is the same guy who has been ripping up and down the street I live on, making as much noise as possible so everyone in the neighborhood knows he's there. Every time he left a stop sign, it was a display of acceleration, and noise. With his irresponsible way of operating his motorcycle, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Thank God no one else was hurt. Hopefully, he will fill out the organ donor card before he starts riding recklessly again, and maybe he'll save someone else's life.
