SUV and Pickup Collide at Busy Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX – A two vehicle crash at the dangerous intersection of Glenna and Junius Friday afternoon could have been worse.

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division officer Long, a black four-door Chevrolet pickup was northbound on Glenna and a maroon GMC Yukon was westbound on Junius.

The driver of the Yukon pulled out into the intersection near the soccer fields by the dam in front of the pickup which had the right of way.

The crash was caused by the driver of the Yukon.

Officer Long says there was one person in the Yukon who suffered minor injuries but no one was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The Yukon driver was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
