Driver Flees the Scene After Crashing Into School

 

ODESSA, TX -- The Odessa Police Department is investigating the circumstances that led a driver to crash into a school on New Year's Day.

According to OPD, officers were dispatched to the  500 block of South Dixie on Friday for reports of a rollover crash.

Upon arriving at the scene officers found a Toyota Corolla had crashed into a street light and a wall of Blackshear Elementary.

Officers located passengers in the Corolla and one of them was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was nowhere to be found.
