Body Found Inside Home Engulfed In Flames

 

ODESSA, TX – The City of Odessa has confirmed one person is dead after a house went up in flames on Sunday morning.

According to city officials, shortly after midnight firefighters were called to a house fire in the 200 block of East 12th Street.

When the firefighters arrived on the scene they found the home completely engulfed.

After putting out the fire, they discovered a body in the back of the house.

The victim's body was transported to Tarrant County for an autopsy as identification is still pending.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
