WATCH: Noontime Crash Blocks Traffic at Busy Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Shortly before lunchtime San Angelo Police Department officers responded to a crash on Southland Blvd. in front of Sam's Club.

According to the responding officer, the crash occurred when a Chevy Silverado was struck by a Toyota 4Runner traveling south on Southland as it was leaving the Walmart parking lot.

It appears the driver of the pickup truck did not see the 4Runner and pulled out in front of it.

The parties involved suffered only minor injuries and no one was transported to the hospital.

The driver of the Silverado was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way leaving a private drive.
