Man Killed In Early Morning Mobile Home Fire

ABILENE, TX -- A mobile home fire claimed the life of an Abilene man early Sunday morning.

According to first responders, AFD responded to 4290 Caldwell Road just before 4:00 a.m.

When firefighters arrived they found the mobile home clouded in heavy smoke and flames. This made an interior attack impossible.

After the fire was extinguished firefighters entered the home to remove the debris caused by the heavy damage to the roof and floor.

They then located the body of  55-year-old Michael Czeto. His body was transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.

At this time it is unclear as to what may have caused the fire and the incident remains under investigation.
