Watch: Driver Hospitalized In Crash At Dangerous Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- One driver was sent to the hospital in a lunchtime crash on Friday at the intersection of Austin St. and Ave. N.

According to Officer Long of the SAPD, the white GMC truck was heading west on Ave N and attempted to make a left turn onto Austin St.

 

The driver of the GMC failed to yield the right of way and crashed with a maroon Hyundai Elantra traveling east on Ave N.

The driver of the Elantra was transported to Shannon with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the GMC received a citation for failure to yield the right of way when making a left turn.
